Welcome to Kate and Jeremy’s family pictures blog post taken at Franklin Square Park in Syracuse, NY!

Who’s thinking about Christmas yet?  I feel like its kind of hard not to be thinking about Christmas with all the snow that’s on the ground already!  Kate and Jeremy got married just a few months ago (check out their wedding blog post here!) and I was THRILLED when she emailed me and asked if I’d be available to do a family session for them for their Christmas cards!  When we planned their session, I wasn’t sure if we’d have snow on the ground so I started thinking of places that had good red and green tones to them for a more Christmas-y feel!  Kate actually suggested Franklin Square Park in Syracuse, NY for their family pictures and as soon as I read her email I thought it’d be perfect!

At the beginning of their session, I asked Marcus if he’d be cool with me taking a few pictures of just him!  He agreed readily but REALLY started to have fun when I asked him about his interest in karate!  He told me he was a red belt which didn’t mean a whole lot to me initially.  But then he explained all the colored belts that come before red and how close the red belt was to having a black belt and then I was really impressed!

It was pretty chilly but Kate, Jeremy and Marcus were good sports about it!

We definitely found out how ticklish Marcus is!

I don’t even know what got these three laughing so hard but I loved the outcome!

I hope these photos get you in a Christmasy mood!  I don’t usually decorate my house for Christmas before Thanksgiving but I have really been thinking about it this year!  I also know I need to get my Christmas cards designed!

Either way I hope you’ve enjoyed Kate and Jeremy’s Christmas card family picture post from Franklin Square Park in Syracuse, NY!  If you’d like to see another family blog post, check it out here!  Or if you’d like to get to know my little family better, come on over and follow me on Instagram for fun behind the scenes peeks and photos of our silly little boys!
