Golf Course Wedding | Brandon & Jessica

Bridal Getting Ready

Jessica and Brandon had the most beautiful golf course wedding last weekend at Ravenwood Golf Course in Victor, NY! But before I get into this beautiful venue, let’s meet Jessica and check out all her wedding details! Here’s her gorgeous wedding dress!

Jess, her bridesmaids and her mom all had their hair and makeup done by Jerica and Kathryn at Muse Makeup & Hair Studio! The bride and bridesmaid’s makeup AND hair stayed REALLY well in the 90 degree heat with 90% humidity. I say that’s pretty impressive!

I loved Jess’ simple yet elegant details! From her invitation, to the pearls on her necklace and shoes, the earrings, diamond engagement ring and wedding bands and even her perfume from Tiffany’s!

Here’s her perfume from Tiffany’s!

Ravenwood had a beautiful bridal suite with lots of natural light!

I loved the detailing on the top of Jessica’s wedding dress!

Here’s the sweet exchange between Jess and her dad when he got his first glimpse of her all dressed up!

Here are a few of Brandon’s details!

These cufflinks with a picture of their pup were a gift from Jess to Brandon along with this sweet notebook!

Bride & Groom First Look

Here’s the First Look between Brandon and Jess!

Bride & Groom Photos Around Golf Course

There are many spots around the golf course for wedding pictures and we really look advantage of all Ravenwood had to offer! The patio where we started was also the spot where their ceremony took place. With a fountain and LOTS of gorgeous flowers planted around, it made for the perfect spot to do some portraits!

One of the reasons why I love to do photos in a well landscaped area is because that usually allows me the opportunity to frame my couple with flowers, grasses, trees, things like that!

The Bridesmaids and Groomsmen

Here’s the full bridal party!

Right as you pull into Ravenwood, you’ll see this large stone with their logo, a fountain, pond and all these beautiful flowers!

I really can’t get over the flowers that Rockcastle Florist did for Jess and Brandon’s wedding! So SO well arranged yet with a hint whimsical-ness!

I also really love the dusty rose color of the bridesmaid’s dresses!

I just love this one of Jess laughing!

Brandon was such a trooper. It was SO hot that day and he and his groomsmen were definitely had the most layers on. I don’t think I heard one word of complaint all day!

The Golf Course Wedding Ceremony

Because we had done the First Look and all the photos before the ceremony, Brandon and Jess could relax when it came time to walk down the aisle! I think if you ask Brandon, he’ll tell you that the First Look didn’t diminish that moment when he saw Jess come down the aisle. He was still teary eyed!

I love the concept of doing Unity Sand. Once you pour the two colored sands together, they cannot be separated.

Check out these sparklers that went off when Jess and Brandon shared their first kiss at the altar!!!!!

Golf Course Wedding Reception

Loved this floral arrangement for the top of the seating chart!

Look at these wine favors! Not only is it a classy idea but the color that it added to their decor fit perfectly within their theme!

The Sweetheart Table…

… and the place setting with this gorgeous dusty rose cheesecloth on the table!

Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs.!

Brandon and Jess enter their golf course wedding reception amidst these amazing sparklers again!

The First Dance

The sweetest First Dance!

Parent Dances

At Ravenwood, we were outside on the patio for the ceremony, the introductions into the reception and all the special dances. Then we headed into the beautiful air conditioning for the toasts and dinner!

Wedding cake and pastries was made by Savoia Pastry Shoppe in Rochester!

Before Jess and Brandon cut their cake, Jennifer, the wedding coordinator at Ravenwood, made sure they had everything they needed and even gave them direction on how to cut the cake! In chatting with Jennifer, we learned that she’s been at Ravenwood for 21 years! I’m telling you, in the wedding industry, that’s some dedication! That’s a long time to be at the same venue coordinating and I give her lots of props! She’s a true professional!

Ok now it’s time to tell you where these amazing sparklers AND a night full of fun, dancing and music came from! Mikey and his sweet assistant (who’s name I sadly forget) from Encore Events were SO fun!

Golden Hour/Sunset Photos

After dinner, we took the golf cart out to the course for 10 minutes and got all these amazing pictures that look both like golden hour AND sunset!

The color in the sky and the clouds was just perfect!

I put Andrew on the spot in the middle of doing photos to come up with the next posing idea for Jess and Brandon to do. He suggested this one, and I think it’s my favorite because Jess’ face just LIT up when Brandon kissed her hand!

If you look really closely at this photo Andrew got back on the patio, you’ll see there is a faint rainbow in the sky!

After some dancing, we wrapped up the night with a few Happily Ever After shots on the patio in front of the fountain!

To Jess, Brandon and their families… thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! We really enjoyed celebrating with you and wish you both the very best in this next chapter of your lives together!
