Welcome to Emily’s Syracuse Senior pictures blog post! This is honestly one of the most unique senior sessions I’ve ever photographed! You’ll see why in a minute!
One of the things that made Emily’s Syracuse senior pictures so different is that she requested a few really cool locations! Emily loves everything having to do with theater, music and fashion and wanted to do her session near a theater.
I suggested doing a few photos outside of the Landmark Theater before moving on to another location in the city! The box office made for a cool spot as well as beside a Hamilton poster… currently one of her favorite musicals!
While we were photographing outside the doors, Emily’s mom called the Landmark Theater office and asked if we could come inside for a few photos. They just so happened to have the lights on for a bride who was doing a walk through so we were able to do more portraits inside!
Which honestly turned out to be a blessing because it had started to rain outside. We were able to do the first half of her Syracuse senior pictures inside and stay dry.
But then we ventured outside and braved the rain drops. Emily’s mom made sure to grab an umbrella which not only kept Emily dry but made for a really fun prop!
Right across from the Landmark Theater is the restaurant Oh My Darling! Their flower boxes made the perfect foreground for a handful of photos!
Then we drove just down the street to shoot outside of The MOST! With its unique architecture and backgrounds, the MOST makes for a really cool, urban location for Syracuse senior pictures!
I love this one of Emily!
Being so into fashion, Emily actually sewed this pink and black dress herself!
Emily is currently a senior at Faith Heritage in Syracuse and has big plans to pursue theater in the future!
