Welcome to Chelsea and Joe’s Baltimore Woods/Marcellus Park engagement session blog post! As a Camillus engagement photographer, I love finding local, off the beaten path locations to shoot! These pictures are Chelsea and Joe’s “official” engagement photo session but I am so honored to tell you that I was actually there when Joe popped the question to Chelsea!

Baltimore Woods

Chelsea’s family coordinated a family photo session which turned into a surprise proposal when Joe asked her to marry him! I love being a proposal engagement photographer and feel so honored to be a part of those moments!

Chelsea and Joe were such good “models” for the camera! When I put them in front of this apple tree and saw the trunk and the branches of the tree arching over, I suggested that Joe kiss Chelsea in a bit of a “dip kiss” and this was the result! I love how the branches frames them!

Meet the other two furry members of Joe and Chelsea’s family… their Dog of Honor and Best Dog! 🙂

They were both so well behaved and listened so well, I didn’t even need treats to bribe them (the dogs that is, not Chelsea and Joe!) LOL!

Marcellus Park

After we did part of their session at Baltimore Woods, we made our way just down the road to Marcellus Park so we could incorporate a “water element”, the stream, into their photos! I just loved this dress that Chelsea had on!

The crazy thing is that after we shot their Baltimore Woods/Marcellus Park engagement pictures at the stream here, it rained for two days straight and not only this stream but much of Marcellus Park became completely flooded! I’m glad we did their session earlier in the week!

This spot in front of the bridge was Chelsea’s suggestion and I loved it!

Joe did a great job picking out Chelsea’s diamond engagement ring, didn’t he?!!

I think this is one of my very favorite photos of these two, just because they’re having so much fun being together! The laughter, the smiles, their friendship.
