Ponce Inlet engagement photos don’t get more fun and adventurous than Aliana and Aaron’s session by the water!

These two are not only deeply in love but share a zest for life, exploration, and the beauty of the outdoors that made capturing their love and friendship feel effortless and joyful.

After considering several options for their engagement session, we landed on Smyrna Dunes Park with a view of Ponce Inlet lighthouse because of their love for the water and ocean.

The beach provides not only a naturally clean and neutral backdrop but also a setting that perfectly reflects their adventurous and outdoorsy personalities.

They’ve also been on a couple of dates to Ponce Inlet and Smyrna Dunes Park and just love the scenery and wildlife that abound there!

From the moment we started their session, it was clear that this location was the ideal fit—it felt like their happy place!

Aliana and Aaron are a couple with a love story as exciting as their vibrant personalities. Aliana is currently working toward her master’s degree in aviation with a concentration in space. (How cool is that?!) She dreams of working for NASA one day, reaching for the stars in every sense of the phrase.

Aaron, who grew up near the ocean thanks to his dad’s time in the Marines, feels most at home near the water. Though he considers San Diego his home base, he and Aliana have built their life together here in Florida.

Their passion for adventure and the outdoors is contagious. Whether it’s walking along the beach, hiking trails, or kayaking, they love being outside and experiencing life together.

Their journey to this point is such a sweet one. Aliana and Aaron’s relationship started in Ormond and soon led them to the beach!

They fell in love with St. Augustine during a day trip—their very first trip together—and have made it a tradition to return almost every anniversary and holiday since!

I just love this piece of driftwood on the beach at Smyrna Dunes Park! It loved using it to create visual interest!

Another fun detail about Aliana and Aaron? They both drive Mini Coopers! As a former Mini Cooper enthusiast (seriously, they were my dream car in high school), I couldn’t help but smile when I saw them arrive in their stylish rides. That little touch of personality is such a reflection of who they are—fun, unique, and perfectly matched!

Next fall, these two will say “I do” in St. Augustine at The White Room, a stunning venue that holds so much meaning for them.

With its rooftop ceremony space overlooking the bay, it combines their love for water with the charming architecture and history of St. Augustine.

I couldn’t be more excited to photograph their big day in St. Augustine, a city I’ve always enjoyed visiting and nearly moved to myself!

Aliana and Aaron are everything I could hope for in a “Team Hawkins Couple.” From their love of the outdoors to their vibrant personalities and the way they light up around each other, they’re truly a dream to work with.
