As a St. Pete wedding photographer, I was thrilled to capture Maryland and Rob’s stunning beach and yacht wedding. Their day was filled with personal touches, heartfelt moments, and the most gorgeous Florida scenery.
Bride’s Details and Getting Ready at St. Pete Resort

From their watercolor-inspired neutral invitations to the sunset hues that painted the sky during their ceremony, every detail reflected their love for each other and the beauty of St. Pete.
One of the most touching elements of Maryland and Rob’s wedding was their bridal party, made up of their adult children and their spouses. Seeing the way their family supported and celebrated them was truly special. I absolutely adore this moment when Maryland’s daughter Jenn helped her into her elegant yet simple beach wedding dress—it was the perfect choice for their waterfront celebration.
Isn’t Maryland just stunning here? Her hair and makeup was done by her other daughter Katherine!

The First Look
Maryland and Rob chose to share a private First Look, and it was such a sweet, quiet, and sincere moment. Rob’s son-in-law Joe kept him company and helped calm his nerves while Maryland made her way to their special spot.

Capturing these moments is one of my favorite parts of being a St. Pete wedding photographer—it’s an honor to document the love and anticipation that fills these intimate exchanges.
These photos were taken just outside of the Residence Inn in Treasure Island FL!

I also loved Maryland’s jewelry!

Her flowers were also arranged by her daughter and I thought they were lovely!
I loved Rob’s light blue suit three piece suit! Again, perfect for their beach and yacht wedding in St. Pete, FL.

Family & Bridal Party Photos
Their family photos doubled as bridal party portraits, and we found the perfect backdrop behind their resort in St. Pete. With palm trees, beach grass, and beautifully reflective sand, this spot perfectly showcased the natural charm of the area.

Bride & Groom Photos on St. Pete Beach
Even though Hurricane Milton had recently swept through Florida, temporarily closing the beaches, I was thrilled we could still get to the shoreline for some stunning portraits. Enjoy these photos from St. Pete Beach and I’ll meet you on the other side!

Starlite Cruises Yacht Wedding Ceremony in St. Pete, FL
While the original plan was to hold their ceremony on the beach, Maryland and Rob adapted beautifully by moving their vows to the yacht’s second deck.
Maryland tucked herself away in the Captain’s bridge, stealing a quiet moment before the ceremony. I absolutely love this candid shot I captured of her right before!
Maryland’s daughter’s walked her down the aisle while Rob patiently waited at the end of it for her.

Their pastor made the trip all the way from Orlando to officiate their wedding—a meaningful gesture that perfectly reflected Maryland and Rob’s story. The two initially met online, but their very first in-person date was at her church. It speaks volumes about Rob’s character and intentions that he was willing to drive hours to meet Maryland in such a setting!

Surrounded by family and a breathtaking sunset, they exchanged personalized vows that reflected their deep faith and commitment.

Moments like these are what make my job as a St. Pete wedding photographer so meaningful—witnessing couples celebrate their love in such unique and heartfelt ways is an absolute joy.

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the breathtaking sunset to capture some stunning portraits of Maryland and Rob. The vibrant colors of the setting sun were unforgettable.

And to make their day even more magical, the moon was shining in its absolute full glory—a perfect touch to their special day!

St. Pete Yacht Wedding Reception
After their ceremony aboard the Sapphire, the newlyweds celebrated with a reception filled with special touches. Their introduction to “Praise” by Elevation Worship was a beautiful reminder of their love for the Jesus that brought them together.

Rob’s dance with his mother and the heartfelt toasts from their children and in-laws added even more layers of love and meaning to their day.
I’m realizing more and more how much I love the toasts that happen during dinner. Hearing stories from close friends, family, and parents offers a glimpse into the lives of the bride and groom through the eyes of their loved ones. These speeches often reveal what matters most to the couple, and Maryland and Rob’s toasts were no exception.
Each of their children and in-laws spoke about their deep love for the Lord. Rob’s daughter shared how she had prayed daily for her dad to find a wife who would run the race of faith alongside him with unwavering endurance. Seeing her prayers answered in Maryland and Rob’s union was so moving—it blessed my heart and strengthened my faith!
Everyone was having so much fun on the dance floor!

Wedding Cake Cutting
One of my favorite memories from the evening was the cake cutting—Rob couldn’t resist adding a bit of frosting to Maryland’s nose, and her reaction was priceless!
