The Garden at The Pinery

At the front entrance of The Pinery wedding venue in Howie in the Hills, FL you’ll find a lush, tropical feeling garden. In a separate blog coming soon I’ll be posting a bit of a “photographic venue tour” of The Pinery but for now you’ll have to take my word for it. This is where Julia and Trevor did their First Look! Just check out how golden the sunshine is coming through the foliage and palm trees!

Not everyone chooses to do a First Look before the ceremony but I love it when they do! I’ve found that the groom is so much more comfortable showing his excitement when he doesn’t have 100+ guests staring at him AND he’s able to actually TELL out loud the bride how beautiful she looks.

The other perk of doing a First Look is that we typically have so much more time for bride and groom portraits! It’s a win win!

I want to be sure to give a big shout out to the whole vendor team who made this gorgeous day possible! First of all, I photographed these pictures alongside Amy Britton Photography who also planned and coordinated this event!

When Jeremy and Christina designed the different spaces for The Pinery wedding venue in Howie in the Hills, FL they really worked to give it a “Garden of Eden” feel!

The wedding ceremony set up in the quiet forest of The Pinery is truly one of a kind! Where can you get married in a forest in Florida? The Pinery is where!

I love these rustic benches that are all set up and ready to accommodate your guests!

“You may now kiss your bride”…

… and “I now pronounce you husband and wife!”

Every groom needs some spotlight too I’m convinced! After all, he’s half of the relationship and marriage!

A Forest Reception at The Pinery

Can you pa-lease check out this STUNNING reception set up?! First off, I should tell you that these magical lights are something that Jeremy and Christina designed and built into their venue and I just LOVE them! But second, this beautiful tablescape was crafted by Elena! So classy!

The wedding cake was masterfully baked and decorated by Victoria with Baked Heavenly Sweets!

If you get married at The Pinery in Howie in the Hills, FL just imagine all the magical portraits we can get under these lights!
