Lifestyle Newborn Pictures in Pink Nursery

I am so excited to share the Salle family’s lifestyle newborn pictures with you! But first of all, in order of importance… meet sweet little Isabella Grace!

I just loved her adorable floral pink nursery! The details that were hand picked as her mommy and daddy anticipated her arrival are so precious.

As a mom, I found that there is nothing like carrying your baby for 9 months but then in the end, being able to hold him or her in your arms and look at their little face. This for me, is one of life’s most precious and unrivaled experiences.

… and big yawns.

I think one of my very favorite parts of the first month with my little ones is all the snuggles and being able to hold them while they sleep.

Newborn Pictures with the Family

Last June, I had the honor of photographing Gabby and Shawn’s wedding (their wedding blog is here!). I had photographed Gabby’s brother’s wedding, so when Gabby and Shawn got engaged, they reached out to me right away! They booked, we did their engagement session and everything was easy until…

… I had to tell them that I was pregnant and that my due date was two days before their wedding. I told them that I typically have my babies early and I would do absolutely everything in my power to be at their wedding to shoot, but that I also had back up plans a, b, c, and d. I also told them that if they were more comfortable finding someone else to shoot their wedding, that was ok with me.

This, of course, left them in a really difficult spot. Stick with me and hope that I’m not in the hospital or in labor or find a new photographer. After many honest conversations together, they decided to take the leap of faith and stick with me. I can’t tell you how much their trust meant to me.

As it all turned out, I ended up going into labor and having our Kiwi Girl 4 weeks early and so I was more than able to be there on their wedding day! While I didn’t necessarily plan on having our little girl THAT early, I was excited to text them from the hospital to tell them that their worries were over, I’d had the baby and I’d be there for them as planned!

So after all that, to be able to be a part not only of their wedding but also to meet THEIR baby girl was just incredible!

Jeeter didn’t want to be left out of the pictures… after all, he’s the big brother!
