Bride’s Details & Getting Ready
I’m so happy you’ve come on over to Nate and Briana’s Tailwater Lodge wedding photos blog post! These two had a gorgeous wedding day and I can’t wait to share it with you!
These are some of Briana’s “wedding details” as I call them! Her wedding bouquet, invitation suite, perfume, vow books, diamond engagement ring and wedding bands, wedding dress, grandma’s handkerchief and diamond earrings that were a gift from Nate!
Here are Brianna and her Bridesmaids and Flower Girls, each with their custom pajamas!
Brianna’s sister gave her a bracelet as a wedding gift and I just loved this exchange between them!
Nate’s gift to Brianna was a pair of really gorgeous diamond earrings!
I just loved Brianna’s Essence of Australia wedding dress! You’ll see in a few photos down that her train was lacey as it was long! So gorgeous!
Brianna’s hair was done by Allyson Turnbull Beauty and her makeup was done by Anne Erney!
Brianna’s laughter! She’s so expressive!
Father Daughter First Look
Brianna wanted to do a First Look with her dad. He had written her a note and everything. It was so sweet!
Groom Getting Ready
Just like Nate gave Brianna diamond earrings, she gave him this watch!
And the handsome groom himself!
Bride & Groom First Look
Ah! This look on Nate’s face right before he saw Brianna!
Bride & Groom Portraits
Then we had a lot of time to get Tailwater Lodge wedding photos of Brianna and Nate!
See what I mean about the train on Brianna’s dress? Stunning!
We also worked with Michael Morrone out of Utica who did videography that day! He was so easy going and fun to work with! I can’t wait to see his video when it’s done!
Brianna and Nate are actually high school sweethearts! I love getting to know a couple better through stories told during the ceremony and speeches! Apparently Nate came to Brianna’s sweet 16 birthday party! SO cute!
This is one of my favorite spots to take Tailwater Lodge wedding photos! It’s actually one of the ceremony sites that Tailwater has and where these two got married! It’s such a beautiful patio area overlooking the Salmon River. My favorite part of it is the white birch railing!
Brianna was really excited to do some pictures in the woods on this boardwalk/bridge!
Here are their Bridesmaids and Groomsmen!
I think it’s so fun when my couples have kids in their wedding party! These two kiddos stole the spotlight in this moment, but a third Flower Girl (seen in the background of the photo on the right) definitely has her moment to shine on the dance floor! Keep your eyes open for confetti and cupcake frosting!
Ok I literally didn’t tell the older Flower Girl to hide her eyes when they kissed. She did that all on her own!
And the Groomsmen!
Surprise group hug!
The Wedding Ceremony on the Salmon River
This little dude took his role as security very seriously! He was so excited to show me his badge! Ah so adorable!
Oh the sweet tears during this wedding ceremony…
Their tree planting ceremony! Nate and Brianna love going to the Adirondacks (which is actually where we did their engagement session!) and where they will be planting this maple tree at their family’s camp in Old Forge!
At one point in the ceremony, Brianna looked back at her sister who had been handing her tissues throughout the ceremony. I watched her sister mouth, “I literally just gave you my last one”. Thankfully they had given me a packet of tissues to carry in my lens bag and Andrew ran it over to the bridesmaids to hand up to Brianna!
The Barn is a beautiful place for Tailwater Lodge wedding photos!
Enter the new Mr. & Mrs.!
Their First Dance!
Father Daughter and Mother Son Dance!
And then… the speeches.
Here she is!… getting her moment on the blog at last! So adorable!
Kenny the Promo Guy was our DJ for the night! As always, he did a spectacular job!
Licking the frosting off the top of her cupcake… just like my kids do!
We ended the evening with a few night time shots outside! I just love these trees that surround Tailwater Lodge.
Thank you so much for coming by Nate and Brianna’s Tailwater Lodge wedding photos! It was such a beautiful day and Andrew and I so enjoyed being a part of the family that day! We wish you both the very best as you start this new chapter of your lives together and… have fun in Aruba!
