Welcome to Adam and Alicia’s Hoopes Park spring engagement pictures blog post! I just love suggesting Hoopes Park to my couples because most times, no one has ever really been there or even heard of it!

And in the spring, Hoopes Park is the perfect place for engagement pictures… or really any pictures because it has SO many blossoming trees! From white to light and dark pink and purple, the trees here change all the colors! It really is one of the only parks in the CNY area I know of that has so many of these kinds of trees!

And the funniest thing is that growing up, I went to church across the street from Hoopes and thought it was a boring, ugly park. Everyone seemed to do their pictures over there and I thought, “eh, not me. I don’t want anything to do with that park! I want something unique!”

Well as it turns out, once I actually started walking and exploring Hoopes on my lunch break eons ago when I worked for a bank in Auburn (pre-photography days) I FELL IN LOVE with it and actually held my own wedding ceremony there! It was perfect! Now I take people there all the time!

But enough about the park and onto Adam and Alicia who met online, just like Andrew and I did!

Adam proposed to Alicia while on a trip to Niagara Falls on the Maid of the Mist! Check out the ring he gave her!!! Isn’t it gorgeous?!

And this October, these two will be getting married at Greek Peak in front of the grand fire place! I am so excited for their scenic wedding day!
