George Eastman Engagement Pictures

Bride and groom share a laugh as they are framed by lavender flowers and a gothic architecture

I am so excited to share Sarah and Chris’ George Eastman engagement pictures with you this evening!  Sarah and Chris live in Rochester and had a few favorite spots around the city where they wanted to do their photos!  I’ve already mentioned that we shot at the George Eastman House but actually we began their session at the Memorial Art Gallery!

Memorial Art Gallery

For their session, they brought the third member of their little family Mr. Fitz!  His humans are getting married and he wanted in on the action!

There were so many great spots around the Memorial Art Gallery to shoot that we could have spent all evening there!  This row of trees was one of Sarah and Chris’ favorite places on the grounds.

The landscaping there was impeccable and when I saw these lavender flowers, I knew I wanted to incorporate them into a few photos!

As all my brides do, Sarah had a styling session with Sneha, stylist and owner of Channel Bay.  She recommended Sarah accessorize her outfit with earrings, a long necklace and this black leather jacket!  It totally switched up Sarah’s look and added variety to her photos!

Just look at the architecture of that building!

One of my favorite things about this photo is that if you look closely, you’ll see Mr. Fitz in the background!  I totally included him in the frame on purpose!

One of my very favorite photos of Sarah and Chris’ whole session!

When we had finished shooting at the Art Memorial Gallery, we headed on over to the George Eastman House for more engagement pictures!

Sarah and Chris were so fun and game to do anything I suggested… including the “Tipsy Walk”!

Everything about the West Garden at the George Eastman House was perfect for engagement pictures… from the landscaping, the light, the arches, and all the greenery that made for perfect framing!

One thing that I noticed and loved about Sarah right from the start is her quick smile and easy laugh!

And really, all you have to do is observe Chris for two minutes and you’ll notice how much he adores Sarah!

I had so much fun with Sarah and Chris that evening!  I’d say the night ended pretty spectacularly as these two treated me to their favorite Mexican place, Old Pueblo Grill!  It was DELICIOUS!

Andrew and I are so excited to be able to capture their wedding memories for them next September at the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery in Buffalo, NY!  Be sure to follow me on Instagram so you’ll be up to date on any other teasers that I post!  And if you’d like to check out more of our wedding work, start on our home page and look around from there!

Feel free to share this blog post around but please do not screen shot these pictures or crop watermark out.
