I am so excited to share Kelsey and Chris’ engagement photos from Beak and Skiff on the blog today! When planning their engagement photos, Kelsey and Chris requested we do it at Beak and Skiff’s Distillery! Chris is a contractor and actually built the Distillery and thought it’d be really cool to do their engagement photos there!
It literally was only a few minutes into my initial meeting with Kelsey and Chris that I knew I wanted to work with them and was hoping they felt the same. I met them at Sunset Pines, Chris’ family’s business which, as it turns out, is just around the corner from where I live and had no idea it was there! Funny and outgoing, Chris and Kelsey called over their best man Chris’ brother who happened to walk in during our meeting. He came and sat down for a minute, introduced himself and mentioned he was starving! I also met Chris’ mom and knew right away that these were down to earth, kind, harding working people.
Chris’ “sneak attack” on Kelsey!
You can tell how Kelsey feels about Chris by the way her smile reaches her eyes…
I still think it’s so cool that we did their engagement photos at Beak and Skiff’s Distillery and Rickhouse that Chris built. I had to do one in front of their iconic 1911 trademark!
I call this one “The Tipsy Walk”! Rather fitting in front of The Distillery don’t you think?
Since moving to “apple country” just a year ago, I still cannot get over the views while driving Route 20 between Skaneateles and Lafayette!
Even before we planned to do their engagement photos at Beak and Skiff, I was already planning to at least make a stop here so we could get this amazing view!!!
And check out Kelsey’s GORGEOUS engagement ring!
I am so looking forward to shooting Kelsey and Chris’ wedding next September! Be sure to check out more of my work from the homepage of my website or our latest work on the blog!
