The Autumn Tree
What better way to celebrate Brandon and Jessica than with their Chittenango Falls engagement photos blog post! They had such a beautiful autumn day for their session!
You can see that the sun was out and shining through those gorgeous autumn leaves.
For their sake, I am so glad it was a nice day because Jessica, being a healthcare worker, has very few days off. We had chosen Monday of Columbus Day weekend for their session with a backup date at the end of October Not only were we coordinating with her few days off but also their drive all the way from Rochester! I was so glad that our Plan A worked out perfectly.
They even brought their dog with them! Jessica’s parents came along too so that when we were done doing pictures with their dog, Jess’ parents could take him home!
Brandon also works for his family’s business which I think is awesome. Small business and entrepreneurs unite! 🙂
Check out this ring that Brandon got Jessica! So sparkly!
Chittenango Falls
After we did a good handful of photos up at the top of the falls with all that glowy, autumn sunshine, we hiked down to Chittenango Falls. I just never get tired of the awesome view and cascading water.
Jess and Brandon actually met online, just like Andrew and I did!
Brandon proposed earlier this year in March during a game night that he and Jess had. They were playing a “relationship game” that contained lots of questions. During the game, Brandon brought out some chocolate covered strawberries that he had dipped himself.
Jess said that she didn’t really suspect anything when he pulled the strawberries out because he’s often does random sweet things for her! I love that! Later on in the game, he pulled out a box and in that box was a diamond engagement ring. Brandon asked her right there and then if she’d marry him. She was so pleasantly surprised!
Upper Chittenango Falls
Whenever shooting Chittenango Falls engagement photos I make sure to not only do pictures at the bottom of the falls but also at the top, just on the other side of the road! The scenery is a little different but still just as pretty! Speaking of pretty, don’t you just love this portrait of Jess?
Both Brandon and Jess are from Italian families and they both love good Italian cooking! But then again, who doesn’t?!
Though these two are from Rochester, Jess grew up in Syracuse. Just weeks before our little Kiwi was born, I had the pleasure of photographing Jess’ friend and her family and they gave Jess my name! So sweet!
Jess and Brandon will be getting married next August at Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, NY near Rochester and I am so looking forward to celebrating with them!
Thanks so much for checking out Brandon and Jess’ Chittenango Falls engagement photos blog post! I hope you enjoyed their love for each other as much as the autumn, sunshine and scenery! Leave them some love in the comments below or back over on Instagram!
