A Romantic Evening at Victoria 1883
If you’re searching for Victoria 1883 wedding pictures, this romantic New Smyrna Beach venue is one that truly stands out.

Some venues are beautiful.
Others make you slow down.
Victoria 1883 does both.

From the moment you arrive, it feels peaceful in a way that’s hard to explain with it’s towering oak trees that have seen more history than you can imagine, soft Spanish moss, and the quiet sound of the courtyard fountain tucked into the background. It doesn’t feel like a typical venue… it feels like you’ve stepped into somewhere meaningful.

And somehow, at the center of it all, it still feels incredibly welcoming. Fabiola, one of the owners, has created an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It doesn’t feel like arriving at a venue—, t feels like being invited in.
That same feeling carried through the entire evening with Mitch and Anela. Earlier this year, I hosted a Valentine’s Day giveaway for a Love Letter–themed styled shoot, and they were the ones who got to step into it.

They first met as kids, lost touch, and later crossed paths again at work, only for life to pull them in different directions once more. Years later, with timing finally on their side, what began as an easy conversation quickly became something that just felt right.

Now they’re building a life together here in Florida, with two dogs, a home, and a wedding ahead of them.

And honestly, they’re the kind of couple that doesn’t need much direction. Being around them feels easy, and that made Victoria 1883 feel like the perfect place to capture this season of their story.

The entire evening came together so thoughtfully, from Anela’s soft, romantic hair and makeup by Mimi with Awe Glammed Up…

… to the stunning florals by Maria with Impekable Flowers…

… to the handwritten letters by First Light Calligraphy that added such a meaningful, personal touch.

Mitch and Anela each wrote a love letter to one another, and once they were finished, we passed them along to Dawn (of First Light Calligraphy), who transformed their words into something not only beautifully written, but beautifully designed as well.

They took a few quiet moments to exchange letters, and from where I stood, I’m pretty sure I heard Mitch softly say, “don’t cry, don’t cry.”

What a Wedding Day Here Can Look Like
One of the things I love most about this venue is how naturally a wedding day can flow.
Everything is close together, which makes transitions easy and keeps the day feeling relaxed rather than rushed.

A typical flow might look like:
- getting ready in the on-site guest rooms
- a ceremony in the East Garden looking towards the water
- cocktail hour in the speakeasy or secret garden
- and a reception unfolding in the courtyard or under a beautifully lit tented space

There’s no need to travel between locations, which allows couples to stay fully present throughout the day.
What to Know Before Booking Victoria 1883
One important thing to consider when choosing this venue:
all ceremonies and receptions are held outdoors

While the bed and breakfast and speakeasy offer indoor, air-conditioned spaces, the main events take place outside, surrounded by the natural beauty of the property.
Because of this, timing matters.

Florida’s cooler months—typically November through March (and sometimes into April), tend to be the most comfortable and predictable for outdoor weddings. Summers can bring high heat, humidity, and frequent afternoon storms, which is something couples will want to factor into their planning.
Victoria 1883 Wedding Cost & Experience
Victoria 1883 is best described as a higher-end boutique wedding venue.
Rather than simply booking a space for a few hours, couples are often creating a full weekend experience, bringing their closest people together in one place, staying on-site, and celebrating in a more connected and intentional way.

It’s not just about the wedding day.
It’s about the experience surrounding it.
Is Victoria 1883 the Right Wedding Venue for You?
This venue is perfect for couples who:
