Getting Ready at an Air BnB in St. Augstine
From their proposal at the Lightner Museum to their White Room St. Augustine wedding, Aliana and Aaron’s love story is woven through the charming streets of this historic city. From the moment they told me their celebration would overlook the harbor, I couldn’t wait to capture it. There’s something about St. Augustine—the history, the architecture, the atmosphere—that makes every love story feel timeless, and their wedding day was the perfect reflection of that charm.

Can we take a moment for this beautiful invitation suite? Every detail, every piece was thoughtfully chosen and came together so gracefully. These are my favorite kinds of details to photograph—the kind that tell the story before the day even begins.

Aliana and her bridesmaids started the day at a gorgeous Airbnb in St. Augustine, where Prim Bridal worked their magic on hair and makeup. The space was filled with windows and soft natural light, creating the perfect backdrop for those joyful getting-ready moments.

Bridal Suite at The White Room, St. Augustine
Once we arrived at The White Room, Aliana stepped into her gown inside the bright, spacious bridal suite. Every corner of the venue felt rich with history—the kind of place where even the floorboards seem to hold a story. The White Room team thought of every detail, from glass bottles of water and chilled champagne to an assistant ready to help with anything the girls needed.

Aliana’s off-the-shoulder gown was stunning, elegant, and fit her so beautifully.

With the chandelier, the light streaming in, and her bridesmaids surrounding her, the space became a radiant setting for portraits just moments before the ceremony.

One of my favorite parts of the day was Aliana’s First Look with her dad. His reaction was so heartfelt—at one point, he even asked to see the back of her dress and made a full circle around her. It was such a tender, beautiful moment.

Meanwhile, Andrew captured some amazing shots of the guys exploring the back streets of St. Augustine.

Groom and Groomsmen Photos in Downtown St. Augustine
I love how they walked together like they owned the place—so much personality and fun in every photo.

There’s one where Aaron gives this priceless look that I’m sure came from the groomsmen razzing him a bit—it’s one of my favorites!

When I first met with Aaron and Aliana, he kept mentioning the Bridge of Lions, and I love that Andrew was able to capture him right there in front of it—lion statue and all!

Rooftop Ceremony at the White Room, St. Augustine
The White Room St. Augustine wedding venue has three historic floors, with their ceremony held on the rooftop terrace overlooking the harbor.

I love how Aaron leaned to try and catch a glimpse of Aliana through the guests as she walked down the aisle.

The florals and ceremony arch by The Flower Bar framed the harbor view perfectly—it was such a radiant scene.

The view was absolutely breathtaking.

Their dip kiss at the end of the ceremony was one for the books! I’m pretty sure they practiced it, because it was flawless.

Their bridal party erupted with excitement, cheering them on—it was the perfect way to kick off the celebration.

Some of my favorite shots are the ones filled with motion—Aliana’s dress flowing, her veil catching the breeze, her girls cheering her on.

Speaking of graceful movement, her veil was absolutely dreamy. Between the harbor breeze, the light, and the sweeping views of St. Augustine, it felt like pure magic.

We worked alongside Brian from BR Focus Films, who is always such a joy—calm, kind, and quietly capturing every radiant moment. When I asked if he’d gotten what he needed, he smiled and said, “I’m getting lots of amazing shots!”

A White Room Wedding Reception, St. Augustine
The White Room reception space was draped so beautifully, with chandeliers and bistro lights creating a warm, romantic glow.

Aliana and Aaron had choreographed their first dance, and it was absolutely stunning—flowing, romantic, and effortless. You could tell they were just lost in the moment together.

The Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances were equally moving…

…followed by some of the sweetest speeches from the Maid of Honor and Best Man. You could see how touched Aliana and Aaron were by every word.

Their reception stations were amazing—lemonades, hot cocoa, a coffee bar with flavored syrups, and even a Coke Float station! It was such a fun and thoughtful touch for their guests.

When it came time to cut the cake, these two couldn’t stop kissing—they paused at least three times mid-cut! I love photographing couples like this—so full of joy, so clearly best friends, and completely over the moon about being married.

Their shoe game was another highlight—it had everyone laughing and showed just how in tune they are with one another. And I have to give a shoutout to Footloose Entertainment—their DJ kept the night flowing perfectly!

Here is the Coke Float Station!

Even though it was basically monsooning further south in Florida (like Mount Dora!), the rain held off until later at night in St. Augustine. These afforded us the great opportunity to capture some epic night time shots, lighting up the raindrops behind them!

Their sparkler exit was also beautiful and perfect that the White Room allowed them to do it under their porch area.
Aliana and Aaron, it was truly such a blessing to capture your White Room St. Augustine wedding. Aliana, the way you show Aaron respect and kindness is so beautiful, and Aaron, the way you care for and love Aliana is inspiring. I’ll never forget Andrew turning to me after the shoe game and saying, “That marriage is going to last.”
Thank you both for inviting us to document your story—it was an honor to be part of your radiant day!
