The recent Rio Pinar wedding vendor event hosted by SMS Events and Design was an unforgettable evening full of creativity, connection, and community. Held at the beautiful Rio Pinar Golf Course in Orlando, FL, this golf-themed networking night brought together some of Central Florida’s top wedding professionals for a celebration of the venue’s stunning event spaces and the incredible vendors who make magic happen.

Rio Pinar Golf Course: A Hidden Gem for Orlando Weddings

Wendy and her team at Rio Pinar have been working hard to breathe new life into the venue, and this Rio Pinar wedding vendor event was the perfect way to show it off. From the grand, spacious ballroom (which comfortably seats up to 200 guests) to the stylish bridal getting-ready suite with its adjoining lounge and bathroom, every inch of the venue has been thoughtfully laid out for modern weddings.

Outdoors, the ceremony site overlooks the golf course and is framed by a beautiful cluster of palm trees—a dream backdrop for couples seeking a golf course wedding in Orlando.

This event, titled Par-Tee with the Ladies in Pink, was a full golf-themed celebration. Guests arrived in golf attire, golf carts were decorated with vibrant florals, a putting green was set up in the ballroom, and every corner of the space felt like a whimsical spin on a day at the course.

Stunning Details by Talented Vendors

💐 Sweet Juliet Designs absolutely stole the show with her florals. From golf cart blooms to the colorful balloon arch on the dance floor, her work was everywhere—and I was lucky enough to take home a bouquet that’s still brightening my kitchen.

Transforming the Ballroom

The Grand Ballroom at Rio Pinar was completely transformed for the Rio Pinar wedding vendor event, thanks to furniture, décor, and rentals from Crystal Event Rentals, Opal Luxe Event Rentals, Echo Event Rentals, and A Chair Affair. Think candles, bud vases, lounge seating, and stylish tables—every corner was picture-perfect.

🕯️ All of the luxe linens throughout the event came from Connie Duglin Linen Rental, adding texture and color that tied the entire look together.

🍰 Sugar Divas Cakery crafted themed desserts that were not only adorable but absolutely delicious. Her golf-inspired treats were a fan favorite!

⛳ Lux Putt Weddings brought the mini-golf vibes with custom putting greens designed just for weddings—so fun and interactive.

We also had the pleasure of hearing live music from Dave String Violin, who wowed everyone not only with his talent but also with some surprise dance moves.

🎨 Inside the ballroom, M. Ansemi Design Studio helped guests discover their best color palettes—an amazing service for wedding styling and makeup planning.

Additional tunes came from iRock Your Party, making sure every beat of the night was perfect.

💎 Jessica of The Spark Collective was on hand to share permanent jewelry—an elegant and memorable experience for guests.

Catering was provided by the Pine & Oak Tavern, Rio Pinar’s on-site restaurant…

Schnaer Family Wines hosted a wine tasting that added a fun and elegant touch—and they’re also a preferred wine vendor at Rio Pinar weddings.

Bridal Suite

👗 The elegant wedding dress on display was provided by Sorelle Vita Couture, showcasing the kind of elevated bridal fashion that Rio Pinar weddings attract.

💄 In the bridal suite, Laura Reynolds Artistry pampered and glammed up guests, giving them the red carpet treatment.

The Oak Room at Pine & Oak Tavern

🎉 Paul’s Poems gave guests a unique experience by typing up personalized poems on his vintage typewriter—such a sweet, personal touch!

The entire Rio Pinar wedding vendor event was brought to life by the tireless efforts of SMS Events and Design.

Michelle and her “Ladies in Pink” curated every detail—from the themed décor to the vendor coordination—with so much heart and hustle.

They’re hard to miss in the photos: anyone in bright pink is part of the SMS crew that made it all happen!

And let me tell you, this crew is as much fun as the hard work they put in every day!

The signature drinks were amazing!

📸 This Rio Pinar wedding vendor event was photographed by myself and Olivia Polk of Polk Bros Entertainment. Though we work for different companies, we’re friends in the industry (but more importantly, in real life!) and had so much fun capturing every moment side by side.

📱 Candidly by Claire brought her energy and creativity as the event’s content creator (she’s in the black and white outfit in the photo on the bottom right!)—capturing all the BTS moments and real-time fun.

Entertainment was in full swing! Complete Weddings & Events brought the party with DJ Tommy, who not only kept the dance floor packed but also made appearances in the golf cart photo booth—he was a total hit!

The second half of the evening was all about fun. It’s rare that we wedding professionals get to be the ones dancing, laughing, and truly enjoying the moment—but that’s exactly what we did. As vendors who usually serve and support others, it was a refreshing night to celebrate each other.
