Golden Light and Joy in the Dunes
Brenna and Mitchell’s story began a brand new chapter on the coast of Florida, and I had the joy of capturing their Ponce Inlet elopement photos not far from her parents’ home.

These two eloped that very morning and reached out to me to document this special day with a relaxed and joyful beach session that included both sets of their parents. It was an intimate, heartfelt celebration filled with love, laughter, and sunshine.

Before the session, I hopped on a quick FaceTime call with them—something I always love to do with new couples. I got to hear their story, see their faces, and ask how I could best serve them through my lens. That’s when I found out that Mitchell is from Scotland, and after the elopement, the two would be moving there together once Brenna’s visa is approved.

The evening for their Ponce Inlet elopement photos couldn’t have been more perfect. The light was soft and golden, the kind of glow photographers dream about.

Within minutes of beginning, Mitchell swept Brenna into a dip kiss and I thought, “Oh yes, this is going to be fun!” These two were natural in front of the camera and clearly head-over-heels for each other.

Family Moments That Made These Ponce Inlet Elopement Photos Unforgettable
One of the most beautiful elements of their Ponce Inlet elopement photos was the inclusion of family. Brenna’s parents were right there for the big day, and Mitchell’s parents flew all the way from Scotland to witness it, making the celebration even more meaningful.

Watching Mitchell’s mom tear up as she saw her son with his new bride moved me deeply. Being there for such a momentous threshold in their family’s life—it’s the kind of privilege I never take for granted.

I composed this photo with the thought that both sets of parents have poured their hearts into raising kind, thoughtful children over the past 18+ years. And now, as they lovingly let go, a new family begins—built on all that love and care.

Brenna and Mitchell, I couldn’t have been more honored to photograph this incredible milestone for you and your families. Thank you for welcoming me into such a personal celebration. Meeting your parents, laughing on the beach, and toasting your new journey—it was all unforgettable. Perhaps our paths will cross again someday in Scotland or back here on Florida shores. That’s a toast I’ll gladly make.
