A Love Story Inspired by “Up”

Loren and Rob consider themselves much like Carl and Ellie from the beloved Disney movie Up. As big Disney fans, their wedding day featured subtle nods to the film, making their storybook romance shine even brighter. From the whimsical Disney Happily Ever After cake topper to their fairytale-like moments during golden hour, their day at this Central Florida barn wedding venue was magical in every way.

A Private Moment Between Loren and Rob

Loren and Rob chose to have their First Look privately before the festivities began. This intimate moment allowed them to connect, share their love, and calm any pre-wedding jitters. Dragonfly Farms, with its serene surroundings and charming features, provided the perfect backdrop for this joyful exchange.

Dragonfly Farms, one of the most stunning Central Florida barn wedding venues, truly shines during golden hour. Loren’s favorite photo spot, the swing, was a highlight of the day. Her cathedral-length veil, scattered with pearls, created a dreamy, Disney-like look as it wrapped around her.

In addition to the back patio, one of my favorite photography spots at Dragonfly Farms in Palm Bay, FL is the area to the left of the venue entrance. The gorgeous white fences and the bamboo create an ideal setting with soft, shaded light and a beautifully balanced backdrop of warm green and yellow tones.

An Emotional Father-Daughter First Look

Loren’s First Look with her father was one of the most emotional moments of the day. Her dad, who stayed home to care for her as a baby during her kidney transplant journey, shared a unique and unbreakable bond with Loren.

His first words when he saw her were, “You look so beautiful.” The love and pride in his eyes were evident and moved everyone who witnessed their interaction.

Loren took a moment to show her dad that she was wearing her mom’s earrings and necklace, a heartfelt tribute to her memory.

To honor her late mother’s wishes, Loren and Rob incorporated beautiful Jewish traditions into their ceremony.

Under a chuppah adorned, they circled each other seven times, signed the Ketubah, and ended the ceremony with the breaking of the glass.

Subtle Tributes to Loren’s Mom

Throughout the day, Loren’s mother, Faye, was remembered in the most thoughtful ways. Not only did Loren carry a photo of her mom on her bouquet and wore her mother’s necklace and earrings, but she also displayed her photo at the sweetheart table.

This Father Daughter dance was truly special.

The reception featured unforgettable moments, including Rob and his mom’s heartfelt dance to Josh Groban’s You Raise Me Up.

During the reception, in lieu of the bouquet toss, Loren passed her flowers to her aunt in a touching tribute, reminding everyone of the love and legacy Faye left behind.

The cake by Love Bugs Bakery, topped with a Disney Happily Ever After design, was both beautiful and delicious. Lori of Grand Events by Lori was the coordinator for the day.

Our DJ for the night was Seth from Blue Skies Entertainment and was so fun to work with!
