As a Winter Park photographer in Florida, I am thrilled to invite you to Jonathan and Larissa’s engagement photos blog post!

The first thing I could tell when I met Jonathan and Larissa is how crazy they are about each other. The way they exchange glances, share whispers, and smile at each other reveals just how thankful they are to have found one another.

It was actually Jonathan’s mom who found my website and blog posts and send my information on to Jonathan. And Jonathan, a former wedding photographer himself, showed my work to Larissa! I am truly honored to be photographing another photographer’s wedding!!

These two met through a mutual friend. If I remember the story accurately, a friend of Larissa’s and Jonathan were part of the same friend group that were touring some Disney resorts around Christmastime. The group ended up having one spot left for the day and Larissa’s friend invited her to come along and the rest is history!

I love being a Winter Park photographer! There are so many amazing places to photograph and the settings and backgrounds for photos are endless!

Train Station at Winter Park

As soon I spotted the white train station in Winter Park, I knew I wanted to do photos of Jonathan and Larissa there! I love it’s architecture provided a classic, bright background!

Park Ave, Winter Park, Florida

Park Ave in Winter Park isn’t just full of fun shops and restaurants—it also has some of the best landscaping and downtown vibes around! That makes being a Winter Park photographer so much fun! I had so many fun elements to use for Jonathan and Larissa’s photos!

I love these photos of just Jonathan… especially when I told him to look over at Larissa!

Park Ave

Larissa and Jonathan were total troopers for these shots! I had them standing in the middle of a side street, so every time a car came through, they had to quickly step aside. I’d say it was totally worth it though!

Apparently Jonathan tells the best secrets!!

Jonathan proposed to Larissa on a Disney Fireworks cruise! He made sure to pop the question right before the fireworks started so that they could serve as the celebration for her “yes!”

I snapped this photo while I was in the middle of capturing shots of Larissa’s ring! I told them they could take a little break, and when I glanced back, they were being so adorable together. I just couldn’t resist capturing the moment! See what I mean about them being crazy about one another? I love it!

I also love how the curls in Larissa’s hair bring out her red highlights! So gorgeous.

This little alley in Winter Park gave such a cute “cafe” feel to this photo!

At one point during their Winter Park engagement session, a musician was performing in the park. It was so sweet to see Larissa and Jonathan take the opportunity and slow dance together!
