Bride Getting Ready at Granville Farms Wedding Venue

Granville Farms is a pristine wedding venue just off I-4 between Deltona, Lake Helen, and DeLand in Central Florida. The thing is, you’d never know you were near I-4 if you visited. It is so. quiet. there and truly encapsulates a serene, country setting.

Here is Alyssa, the beautiful bride getting ready in Granville Farm’s roomy bridal suite!

I love it when we get these “picture perfect” photos of the Matron of Honor helping the bride get dressed. But you know what I love even more?…

… when I get REAL LIFE moments like these! Oh my gosh! This has to be one of my favorite pictures from the day! Honestly! Because it’s real!

I love that when Bryson arrived at Granville Farms, he went right down to the pond to fish and relax!

Bride and Groom’s First Look at Granville Farms

This was such a sweet moment! I love it when the bride and groom have a quiet moment to themselves on the wedding day before everyone arrives.

As we were doing the First Look, we heard the thunder and saw the dark storm clouds roll in. We quickly went outside to capture as many bride and groom portraits outside as we could!

This is only a small sampling of them… we got so many more photos in just a few short minutes! And I love them all!

Alyssa’s pearl necklace is from her mom. I love that she chose to wear it on her wedding day!

The veil that Alyssa chose had the most beautiful lacy detail around the edges. It was just stunning!

I also want to give Samantha of Magnolia Weddings and Events FL a huge shoutout for her planning and coordinating throughout the day! Everything ran so smoothly because of her!

When I had my very first meeting with Bryson and Alyssa, one of the questions they asked was, “what can you do if it rains on our wedding day?” I told them I have a handful of tricks in my pocket including having them hold big umbrellas if it’s sprinkling, photographing under the barn’s overhang if it’s raining or photographing indoors if it’s all-out storming. That afternoon we went with photographing indoors as the WIND blew the rain sideways! With lots of rain tricks in my pocket, we were sure to get great photos!

I think these all turned out so fun! Total bonus that we all stayed dry as well!

Turning the camera on the groom when he first sees his bride coming down the aisle is one of my favorite things to witness on a wedding day.

Here she comes!

Granville Farms has some of the coolest features I’ve seen in a barn! A lot of its elements have been reclaimed from barns all over the country. I just love the ceiling and chandelier they have.

Wedding Reception at Granville Farms

After Alyssa and Bryson had entered their reception as the new Mr. & Mrs., they had their First Dance. We had the pleasure of working with Kris from DJ Shane’s team again this weekend and love the cold sparklers they bring in for the first dance!

The song that Bryson and his mom danced to was one I had never heard before. Her Little Man by Jami Grooms literally had me turning away from the dance floor so I could wipe my tears away as I thought of my own little boys.

Right before the sunset, we ran outside for a couple of quick golden hour/sunset photos! These sand pine trees made perfect framing for this Granville Farms wedding picture!
