Whether you’ve lived near Orlando your whole life or visiting Florida on vacation it’s not always easy to find great locations in Central Florida for a photoshoot. Since moving to Florida I have made my way around the area and found some absolutely gorgeous places to take photos! So if you’re in need of family pictures or engagement photos, let this be a guide to help you find locations in Central Florida for your photoshoot!

Winter Park, FL

Winter Park has an adorable downtown area complete with shops, restaurants, brick walkways, wrought iron fences, climbing ivy and an overall romantic ambiance. Not pictured here is Casa Feliz, an old world spanish historic home also nestled in Winter Park that overflows with character. There is no shortage of backgrounds for your pictures in Winter Park, FL!

New Smyrna Beach, FL

While there are many beach locations in Central Florida for a photoshoot, New Smyrna Beach is a place where you can not only use the ocean and sand as a backdrop for your pictures but dunes, wooden walkways, and lifeguard stations not to mention it’s beachy-feeling downtown area! For New Smyrna Beach realtor Amanda Rodriguez this was the perfect spot for her photos.

Celebration, FL

Celebration, FL also known as “Disney’s real life town” is idyllic with it’s pastel colored buildings and “southern charm” feel. Founded in the 1990’s by The Walt Disney Company, Celebration offers visitors boutique shopping, cafes, pastry shops and palm tree lined brick roads. If you’re looking for photos that have a “Charleston” or Savannah-esque” feel, look no further than Celebration FL!

Downtown DeLand

Downtown DeLand, founded in 1876 is home to Florida’s oldest private college Stetson University. This historic spot has a small town feel yet is still vibrant with life. If you’re looking for a setting for your photos that gets you out of “mainstream” Central Florida, DeLand is the perfect spot. Stetson University with its massive trees that line the roads surrounding the campus is also a great place for pictures.

Beck Ranch Park, Osteen

A sleepy little park tucked away north of Orlando and to the eastern side of Lake Monroe is Beck Ranch Park in Osteen, FL. This 268 acre park has a very southern feel to it with it’s large trees and spanish moss. When the sun shines through that spanish moss its just magical!

Lastly, I saved one of my favorite locations in Central Florida for a photoshoot till the end!
