Bridal Details & Bride Getting Ready

Welcome to Richard and Grace’s lakeshore wedding pictures blog post! Andrew and I were so blessed to be a part of their wedding day and have the chance to not only get to know them better but also meet their friends and family!

These two got married at the church they both attend, surrounded by their friends and family. It was one of the sweetest wedding ceremonies!

Don’t you just love the way hers and his wedding bands look together? With the same “woven” theme throughout, I thought they were stunning!

Grace, Richard and I met not too many months ago when they booked with me. One of my good photographer friends had recommended Grace to me as she knew her from a friend of a friend. My calendar was full and I had pretty much stopped booking weddings for 2022, but when I saw who had recommended me and Grace’s circle of friends I thought, “I should probably meet with her!” And sure enough, we totally hit it off in the meeting and we became friends right there!

Grace and her bridesmaid’s hair and makeup were done by Hair n’ There. They always do such a great job!

Bride & Bridesmaids Portraits

Here is Grace with all the bridesmaids! More than a handful of the girls asked me how they could be of help that day! I was so thankful and impressed for their forethought!

This sweet flower girl was legitimately helping Grace with the train of her wedding dress!

I just love this Flower Girl photo!

Would you be surprised if I told you that Grace was not only a gymnast but a dancer? Probably not! You can see it in her portraits! She is so gorgeous!

Groom and Groomsmen Portraits

Here is Richard with all his groomsmen and ring bearers! We also had one of the groomsmen come up part way through the wedding and ask if we needed help pulling family members together for pictures. That was SO helpful because while I have a list of shots to call names from, I don’t know who anyone is but this groomsmen did!

I love this photo of Richard reading his letter from Grace the morning of the wedding!

These adorable little kiddos! I can’t handle it!

Church Wedding Ceremony

Richard’s face was just beaming as Grace walked down the aisle!

And he just continued to beam.

Let’s be honest… so did Grace!

Bride & Groom Portraits at Clark’s Reservation

Both Grace and Richard love to be in the woods and to hike. In fact, they got engaged at Tinker Falls (though we did their engagement session at Chittenango Falls that you can check out here!) and that’s why they requested to do some of their portraits at Clark’s Reservation!

I love these woodsy photos of them!

Once we got out of the woods, we got back into the sunshine to do some glowy, backlit portraits (my FAVORITE type to get!)

Oh my gosh, I LOVE Richard’s suspenders!

Bride & Groom Portraits with Dune Buggy

I also loved how creative these two were in driving a Dune Buggy to their reception venue for their lakeshore wedding pictures.

The shades… they add such a great element to these photos!!

Love, love these!

Bride & Groom Portraits at Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club

And then these… with the lake behind them and the sunshine filtering every so slightly through the leaves of this majestic tree! I think this set is my favorite from their whole lakeshore wedding pictures!

I can tell how much fun these two truly have together!

Bridal Party Photos

Richard and Grace had so many sweet friends who came in from all over the world for their wedding… most notably, the Best Men who flew all the way from Australia!

The First Dance

Will you just check out the sunset over the water outside the window?! Because speeches and toasts were after dinner, the sun set while those were happening but we did get outside just BEFORE sunset…

… to get these portraits!!

Epic!

There was tons of fun dancing and party provided by Letitia and The Great Music Company!

Something I didn’t know until the wedding day… Richard is part Jewish! I loved that they incorporated the Hora into their reception!

We closed out their evening with a few epic night time shots!

Richard and Grace, friends and family, thank you so very much for allowing Andrew and I to be part of such a special day in your lives! We have LOVED getting to know you both and pray that God continues to bless your marriage and family as you pursue Him with all your hearts! We love you both!
