Baltimore Woods
I am SO excited to share Scott and Channing’s Syracuse fall engagement pictures with you today! Lately when I’ve shot at Baltimore Woods, the sun has been out. But the afternoon we had scheduled Scott and Channing’s session it was pretty overcast, but I couldn’t be more excited at all the photos we got!
You see, when the sun is out, I usually position my couples with their backs to the sun but with the sun under, I was able to turn these two around to face a different direction and use different backgrounds than I have in the past!
And I hadn’t been to Baltimore Woods in a handful of weeks and WOW… look how the foliage exploded into amazingness!
And I was so thrilled for Channing because I know she was going for a cozy fall feel for their pictures and with the perfect sweater and boot choice, they totally nailed it!
From the first email exchange that Channing and I had, I started to get excited. You know when you just connect with someone? Well I already loved her and she even mentioned in an email to me BEFORE we had even met, “I hope you think we’ll be a good fit for each other!” I didn’t want to get ahead of myself but I thought, “Oh gosh, I think we will be!”
She and Scott loved that Andrew and I worked together so Andrew even sat in on our initial meeting and we both enjoyed chatting with Scott and Channing! We chatted about their nieces and nephews and our boys, their glasses of wine not to mention all their wedding details that will be held at Belhurst Castle!
I was so excited to get an email from Channing two days after our meeting saying that they’d love to book! I did a happy dance as I shared the news with Andrew. 🙂
And gosh, did we ever have a good time together at their engagement session. I can tell how much they adore and care for each other.
So we had started their session at Baltimore Woods but then drove just down the road to Marcellus Park where there were a few more brilliantly colored trees! A pathway through autumn trees… there’s just something so poetic about it that makes my imagination soar!
Marcellus Park
And this epic red tree! Can you get enough of it?!
Check out Channing’s emerald engagement ring! She said she had started looking on Pinterest and other places for engagement ring inspiration and when she saw an emerald ring, she knew it was exactly what she wanted! Scott and his family know a jeweler who has taken care of their family for years so he went to this jeweler, told him exactly what he wanted and had it custom made for Channing!
Not to mention how adorable these two are together!
As we walked around the park towards the end of the session, Channing caught sight of the creek and said, “oh can we do a few down there?!” And I love how they came out!
I hope you loved looking through Scott and Channing’s Syracuse fall engagement pictures and enjoying the love they have for one another! I truly loved my time with them and can’t wait until we can hang out again! If you’d like to see more of my engagement or wedding work, check it out at the links here or shoot me an email here!
