Beside Skaneateles Lake
If you weren’t quite ready to let go of summer, then let Katy’s Skaneateles Village senior pictures be your last fling! I am just in LOVE with how summery we were able to make Katy’s session feel in late September!
First of all, Katy did a great job at choosing a white sun dress to wear and that helped make her session feel very warm and summery!
I also made sure to do her pictures in front of the green leaves instead of the leaves that were turning color.
Besides that, having Skaneateles Lake and the Judge Ben Wiles in the background completes the summery feel!
Village of Skaneateles
So normally I have a few spots that I use to shoot around the village of Skaneateles Village for senior pictures but this evening I decided to go exploring before Katy’s session and found a few new favorite spots to shoot! One of them is right here, next to this fountain!
I just love Katy’s laughter and smile in these series of pictures!
Not only had Katy requested that her Skaneateles session have a summery feel but that it also had a little bit more of a downtown feel… so that’s what we went with!
I also love that she wore her long hair down for her session! So gorgeous!
I had forgotten that there was a dock here just in from the lake. Growing up, my grandparents would bring us in the boat down to Skaneateles, dock their boat here and then we’d run across the street to Doug’s Fish Fry for dinner. Those are such precious memories. It’s probably why I ended up working a handful of summers at Doug’s! Those are also such good, summery memories! I must add that if you’ve never been to Doug’s, you NEED to give it a try!
I just love these wedges that Katy chose to wear as well!
And this magical little alleyway to wrap up Katy’s blog!…
Didn’t she just rock her Skaneateles Village senior picture session?!
