On a rare sunny day last fall, I met up with Mike, Katelyn and their golden retriever puppy Ellie for their engagement photos on Cazenovia Lake!

How cuddly she was!  You would have thought I told her to walk between her new mom and dad with that pine cone in her mouth.  She just knows how to work the camera!

Katelyn and Mike were actually introduced by Mike’s brother, though his brother said he wouldn’t introduce them until he was no longer worked for that particular company.  Sure enough, as soon as he was done there, he introduced these two and the rest is history!

I loved that they suggested doing their engagement photos on Cazenovia Lake at Mike’s parent’s camp.  It was so gorgeous there!

Mike and Katelyn will be tying the knot next August and holding their reception at Turning Stone though we will be returning to their camp here on Cazenovia Lake for more photos with the bride, groom and bridal party!  I can’t wait to capture their wedding memories.
